Of course all this is free publicity for Canadian Club… good or bad they are getting attention, and that is what they wanted in the first place. They’ve now had probably 100 times the attention their initial investment for the ads could have ever generated alone, and so I’m sure they are thanking us all.

That said, I think that Canadian Club’s ads were/are irresponsible, distasteful, disrespectful and demeaning both to men and women alike.
I sincerely hope that “we” see an apology from Canadian Club, though I’m sure we won’t.

In the meantime, please continue as I think you’ve raised an important social issue, and one that should remain in the limelight…
